Between December and August, you can buy live Dungeness Crabs from the Brookings Harbor dock in the late afternoon.  Go to the furthest dock parking lot and walk down to the docks themselves.  They are usually $3.99 per pound and one crab is more than enough to feed one person (there is lots of meat in the body, itself).  Some crabbers will cook them for you right on the dock for $1 each.
